Alex Ferrell is a skilled Nurse Practitioner, earning his degree in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care from Walden University.

He has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field, and has been a nurse practitioner for the past three years. Alex has an extensive and diverse background to include hospital-based medicine and neurosurgery. He was drawn to Heartland Men’s Health because of his desire to utilize therapies that positively impact his patients’ quality of life. He has been able to work with a highly motivated, empathetic and passionate healthcare team providing patients with the care they need.

Alex believes in the importance of continually enhancing his knowledge base to ensure the treatments at Heartland Men’s Health remain innovative and cutting-edge. Sexual health can be highly stigmatized, and countless men suffer in silence. Alex is able to provide empathetic, evidenced-based treatment to the men who seek out care. With Alex, men can feel comfortable and safe discussing sensitive issues, as he approaches each situation with respect, dignity, and professionalism. 

In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He has a quaint farm with chickens that (he jokes) require far too much attention. Alex is also outdoorsy…with hiking, skiing, and hunting being among his favorite pastimes. Additionally, he’s active in his local church and community.
